Thanks. Basically we are trying our options and chances to see if it is possible to work towards a fellowship based on the current restrogressed scenerio. Would any of them have handled such scenerios, I guess Khanna's office would be best option ??? Stephen Perlitsh seems to have answers to all kinds of questions but he is difficult to access.

Hi,
Would some one post info on how to get directly to level 2 or 3 USCIS customer service rather than level 1. I Called USCIS couple of times, the customer said I need to wait 90 days to check the status with them. I filed in July and have no receipt. I would like to know whether my case is entered in USCIS database. Please guide!

By courtesy copy do you mean the original I-797C?
I am also in the same situation. I didn't get the copy and lawyer got copy today only. Appt date is this Sat.
Lawyer has emailed me the scanned copy. Can I take this copy for FP ?

Probably the last action rule triggers in your case from Oct'08 and you will not be considered in L-1 status anymore. You should talk to an attorney I guess.

Guys,
This is question to july 485 files, has anyone from Austin, tx received FP appointment.
I filed on jul 25 ( NSC) got transferred to TSC and got receipts on 9/27
and EAD on 10/2, but no FP as yet.
Just wondering if FP did get lost...or am i in line..
Comments, suggestions ???

if you have applied in NSC, if you are not pushing it to move (through expedite SR or through local congressman etc), prepare to wait for close 120+ days. I am not kidding.
How long is it taking now a days to get AP approval. I am from TX and e-filed on 2nd Oct (ND 4th OCT 2010) and want to know when I can expect the approval.

for 482 the 2 checks of 325 and 70 and one check of 180$ for I765 should be payble to 'Department of Homeland Security', or 'United States Citizenship and Immigration Service'
The form says it should be payble to 'Department of Homeland Security' and the immigration voice 485 help thread says it should be payble to 'United States Citizenship and Immigration Service' .

Why 2 checks for I-485? My attorney advised 1 check for $395! And I was asked to issue the check favouring U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.
The form says it should be payble to 'Department of Homeland Security' and the immigration voice 485 help thread says it should be payble to 'United States Citizenship and Immigration Service' .

The date when this is done is June 13th as seen on the LUD.

Why not petition a GC for your mother and son? You are a US citizen petitioning their parent. It should be a fast process. And your son, if born after you became a citizen, might be entitled to US citizenship. I encourage you to talk to an immigration lawyer. I'm sure you have many options available to you.
