Guys.. please look at this story. this guy's case was assigned to an officer who was no more with USCIS and got stuck for almost more than years......

Finally got his case approved after several calls to USCIS...

I agree with you. EB2 filers should not have any problem after USCIS solves all this receipting mess. Any one who filed in June and is already approved must have been pre-adjudicated, which means both name check and finger printing must have happened before the new fiscal year began. Anyway, from our perspective and not USCIS'S, EB3 has a long way to go.

Have you put a last date for cashing, on your check?? I just want to know how to do it?
Anyway why did you put this Aug 17th as the last day in your check? It looks like you have some extraordinary vision on things....

I believe August 17th was mentioned in his/her post because that is the last day USCIS will accept employment based applications as per the revised July visa bulletin. It does not have anything to do with a date on the check.

I applied for EAD renewal for my spouse. Earlier also i did renewal myself , but online.
This time however i applied manually but forgot to send both front & back of EAD. Instead i just sent front side only. Check was clearly written, photos with A#, Copy of 485 (both sides)
May be a silly question, will it be any issue?
Copy of 485 receipt
Copy Front and back of current EAD
Photos with A# and name in the back (With Pencil/Felt Pen)
Check for 340 Payable to US Department of Homeland Security" (with A#/Name in the memo section) -- Separate checks

Its a crime to influence someone at position to have access to information systems and distribute the data without written permission from the organization.
Both the parties can be prosecuted for this crime..you for soliciting the information for which you have no authority to receive except following proper protocol
Well, that's true but I was being facetious. :-) I am an IT manager and I am aware of laws and regulations. My real intent was point #2. Have said that, I must also say that too many laws and excessive bureaucracy is the bane of this society (and other countries too, like India).

I have approved i-140 and I have applied for 3 year extension for my H1-B (I am currently in the sixth year of H1-b). If I switch employers, would I get 3 years on my new H1-B or time left in the sixth year? I am willing to restart the green card process due to stalled immigration reform bill.
As long as:
1) You can provide your new firm a copy of your Approved I-140 and
2) Your first employer does not cancel the I-140
You will get a 3 year extension based on your approved I-140. I know this coz it has happened to me.

Hi,
Can someone please tell me the entire process involved to bring parents to U.S as Visitors.I know few things but am very confused about the documents we need to send and needed application forms .
I went through vfs site for required documentation (I know we should book the interview date through vfs-usa site.)
They mentioned DS-156 and I-134 forms. where to get these forms from?
What are the documents that should be sent from U.S
What about the financial support proof. Should we show specific amount as proof of support for each person visiting?
Please Advise.

3) Lets say I move back to India after getting the green card, is it enough to simply enter the US once a year to keep my green card active? Can I apply for citizenship after 5 years of having the green card, even though I haven't resided in the US for those 5 years?

I still wish I would of got that a little bit better in focus.
Anyway, I'm not very good with Photoshop (I own Photoshop CS2), but I usually use Corel Paint Shop Pro X. But lately I've been using Picasa2.

It just seems a lot faster the way the program is set up.
I need to learn Photoshop (badly). I just hadn't had time.

Anybody with July 19th receipt date got their Check encashed? How about Receipt Notice? EB-3 India.
I am worried about checks not being cashed yet. After Aug 17th the window is closed.
