What about those whose PD is 2006 or later and DID file I-485?!?

EB2-India has been retrogressed throughout 2006. If your PD is 2006, how did you file your I-485? Are you counting July 2007 filing? Dont count that, see the first post

I donate blood with the American Red Cross once every 2 months.
The limit that you cannot donate if you visit India is 1 year, per them due to India being infested by (clearing my throat) 'MALARIA'.
You are Ok if you just visitied the Himalayas and got back, though. The virus or whatever that causes it cannot live on high altitudes.
this is a very good idea..but theres only one problem..we had gone to a blood donation drive to give blood..but were not allowed to because they do not take blood from people who have visited third world countries like India in the past 3 yrs.
so we can organise a campaign like this..but blood can be donated only by people who havent visited any third world countires in the past 3 yrs.

I don't think that with the EAD renewal receipt you can continue working. Right now, the EAD is valid for 1 year from the day the process and print your card and you cannot specify the employment dates(or they are ignored anyway). It works differently than an H-1B extension where you can specify the dates and even when they process you application say in April and you asked for it to start in march, the approval notice will have the starting period in March. For EAD, if they processed it in April, the starting date is in April.

what is the fee for I-131 is it $305 or $385? do I need to pay for the biometric fee? I already have my FP done when I applied for I-485. I sent my I-485 before the fee increase so I have to pay each time I renew EAD or apply for Travel document. Please advise. Thanks
